Pool cage and screen enclosure repair in Sarasota. Fix the torn bays, keep the rest.
Since 2022 we have finished more than 800 repair jobs in Sarasota ZIP codes — mostly roof and side panels, screen doors and rusted fasteners. We are based on Sarasota Center Boulevard, the crew that quotes the repair does it, and an engineer on our team follows every job step by step.
What Sarasota repairs look like
Roof panels lead the list. Doors and fasteners come next.
Roof panels are on about four in ten of our Sarasota jobs. They take the full sun and whatever falls from the palms and oaks. If the side walls are still tight we replace only the torn roof bays, with new spline, and match the existing mesh.
Doors and bottom panels wear out from use. Screen doors that drag or will not latch, closers that gave up, and the low kick panels pushed out by pets, mowers and landscaping. A door is usually an adjustment or new hardware, not a new door.
Close to the bay, check the screws. West of the Trail and on the keys, salt air rusts fasteners before the aluminum. We look at them panel by panel and the written quote says which ones get replaced, so nothing is added on the day.
What we do in Sarasota
What a repair usually covers
Repair before rescreen, rescreen before replacement — and an engineer on our team following each job step by step.
Roof & side panels
Torn bays replaced in Phifer 18/14 fiberglass (or 20/20 no-see-um to match) with new spline, panel by panel.
Screen doors
Doors re-hung and adjusted, new closers, handles and hinges, or a new door when the frame is bent.
Fasteners & spline
Rusted screws swapped for new ones, loose spline re-seated so the panels stop sagging and popping out.
Full rescreen
When the screen tears at the spline on its own, a rescreen lasts longer for the money. We show you both options.

How is a pool cage repair priced in Sarasota?
By the panels: how many, which ones and how high. Roof panels take more labor than side panels, and doors, spline or fasteners are listed as separate lines. Our pool cage cost guide explains what moves the number.
We count the panels on site and the written quote lists each one.
Can you match my existing screen?
Usually, yes. Most Sarasota cages have charcoal 18/14 fiberglass; some have 20/20 no-see-um or a panoramic screen on the view side. We bring the same type so the new panels do not stand out.
Who checks the work while it is being done?
An engineer on our team follows every job step by step — from the first measurement and the quote to the final walkthrough with you. On permitted work that includes the drawings, the permit and the inspection.
Do I need a permit for a repair?
No. Replacing screen, spline, fasteners or a door on a sound frame is not permitted work. If the aluminum itself has to change, that needs engineered drawings and a permit from Sarasota County or the City of Sarasota, depending on the address, which we pull under CRC1334065.
What warranty do you give?
Our work carries a 1-year labor warranty, and the materials we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty. The written terms come with every estimate.
