Pool cage and screen enclosure repair in Venice. Older frames, tired screen, fixed bay by bay.
Since 2022 we have finished more than 100 repair jobs in the 34285, 34292 and 34293 ZIP codes, from Venice Island to South Venice and the communities east of I-75. We replace the panels that failed, keep the ones that did not, and an engineer on our team follows each job step by step.
What Venice repairs look like
Roof panels first, side panels next, and a door on about one job in six.
Roof panels are on about four in ten of our Venice jobs, and side panels on about one in three. On the older white cages of the island and South Venice, the aluminum usually outlasts the screen, so the first question we answer is how many bays have really failed.
In the golf communities the repair has to disappear. At Venice Golf & Country Club and the Venetian Golf & River Club, most calls are a few panels or a door, and the street is meant to look the same. We match the mesh and the frame color already there.
Near Roberts Bay and the Intracoastal, check the fasteners. Salt air gets to the screws before the aluminum. We look at them panel by panel, and the written quote says which ones get replaced.
What we do in Venice
What a Venice repair usually covers
Repair before rescreen, rescreen before replacement — and an engineer on our team following each job step by step.
Roof & side panels
Torn bays replaced with new spline, in the same mesh as the rest of the cage, so the new panels do not stand out.
Screen doors
Doors adjusted or re-hung, new closers and hardware, or a complete door when the frame is bent.
Bottom panels & fasteners
Low panels pushed out by pets and landscaping, and rusted screws swapped for new ones.
Full rescreen
When the screen is chalky and tears at the spline on its own, a rescreen makes more sense. We show you both options.

Questions
Questions from Venice homeowners
Not here? Call (941) 961-0162.
My cage is from the 1980s or 90s. Is it worth repairing?
Often yes. On many older Venice cages the aluminum and anchors are sound and only the screen has failed. We check the frame first and tell you plainly if a repair still makes sense.
Will the new panels match in my community?
That is the goal. We bring the mesh already on your cage and match the frame color, and we can send the itemized estimate to your association if it needs to see the work first.
Who checks the work while it is being done?
An engineer on our team follows every job step by step — from the first measurement and the quote to the final walkthrough with you. On permitted work that includes the drawings, the permit and the inspection.
Do I need a permit for a repair in Venice?
No. Replacing screen, spline, fasteners or a door on a sound frame is not permitted work. If the aluminum itself has to change, that needs engineered drawings and a permit from the City of Venice or Sarasota County, depending on the address, which we pull under CRC1334065.
What warranty do you give?
Our work carries a 1-year labor warranty, and the materials we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty. The written terms come with every estimate.
