Screened pool cage with bronze aluminum frame over a pool and spa on Florida's Gulf Coast

Pool cage rescreening in Lakewood Ranch. The first full rescreen on a younger cage.

Most Lakewood Ranch cages are young enough that a full rescreen is the first one they have ever had. We have done more than 40 in the 34202, 34211 and 34212 ZIP codes since 2022, often switching to panoramic or no-see-um screen while the panels are out.

Rescreening in Lakewood Ranch

An upgrade, more than a replacement.

Here a rescreen is often a choice, not a necessity. Owners rescreen to change the view (panoramic), keep midges out on lake and preserve lots (Phifer 20/20 no-see-um) or get a stronger screen on a large roof (polyester).

Big cages, big roofs. Large flat-roof and mansard enclosures mean long roof runs and many panels. We stage the work so the pool area is usable at the end of each day.

Matching the community standard. If you change mesh type or color, the community’s design review may need to see it first. We send the screen specification and the itemized estimate, and an engineer on our team follows the job step by step.

Questions

Questions from Lakewood Ranch homeowners

Not here? Call (941) 961-0162.

My cage is under ten years old. Why would it need a rescreen?

Sometimes it does not, and we will tell you. Owners here usually rescreen to upgrade the view or keep midges out, or because the roof screen on a large cage has worn faster than the walls.

Will the community need to approve it?

Like-for-like screen usually does not need approval. A different mesh type or color often does; we send what the committee needs. See HOA and condo work.

Who checks the work while it is being done?

An engineer on our team follows every job step by step — from the first measurement and the quote to the final walkthrough with you. On permitted work that includes the drawings, the permit and the inspection.

What does it cost?

It depends on the size and height of the cage and the screen you choose. See our rescreening cost guide; we measure on site and send a written, itemized price.

What warranty do you give?

Our work carries a 1-year labor warranty, and the materials we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty. The written terms come with every estimate.
