Screened pool cage with bronze aluminum frame over a pool and spa on Florida's Gulf Coast

Pool cages in Cape Coral. New cages, repairs and rescreens for canal and lot homes.

Cape Coral is canals and single lots, and many homes here have no HOA. We have done pool cage work in the city since 2023, and we build new cages: engineered for your address, permitted with the City of Cape Coral and built with an engineer on our team following each step.

Cape Coral, specifically

Open water behind the house, and the design left to you.

Gulf-access canals in the Southwest and Southeast Cape put open water on one side of the cage. The frame is designed for that exposure, and the fasteners and finish are picked for salt air.

Single-lot homes without an HOA leave the design to you: mansard, dome, gable or flat roof, frame color, and wide picture-window panels toward the canal. We draw it, a Florida engineer signs it, and the city reviews it.

Repair first when the frame is sound. Most of our Cape Coral calls so far have been roof panels. If the rest of the mesh is still tight, we replace the torn panels and stop there.

Questions

Questions from Cape Coral homeowners

Not here? Call (941) 961-0162.

Who issues the permit in Cape Coral?

The City of Cape Coral building department. A new cage needs engineered drawings and a permit, which we pull under CRC1334065. Repairing panels on a sound frame does not.

What screen is best on the canal side?

Many owners use wide picture-window panels toward the water for the view, and Phifer 20/20 no-see-um if midges get through at dusk. The rest of the cage can stay in standard 18/14.

What wind load is the cage designed for?

For the wind speed and exposure at your address, as the Florida Building Code requires. A Florida engineer signs the drawings, and homes on open water get a design for that higher exposure.

Can you work with my pool contractor?

Yes. The cage usually goes up after the deck is done and before the pool's final inspection. We set the schedule with your pool contractor so the barrier is in place when the inspector comes.

Who checks the work while it is being done?

An engineer on our team follows every job step by step, from the drawings to the final walkthrough with you. On permitted work that includes the permit and the inspection.

What warranty do you give?

Our work carries a 1-year labor warranty, and the materials we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty.
