Near Lemon Bay and on Manasota Key the homes are older and closer to salt water. Screws, spline and door hardware wear out first; the aluminum often has years left. We say which it is before we quote.
In Rotonda West most of our calls are wall and roof panels and screen doors on the golf-course streets. If several panels have gone at once, a full rescreen is often the better buy, and we show you both numbers.
Two counties, one license. Work that changes the frame needs a permit from Sarasota County or Charlotte County depending on the address. We pull it under CRC1334065, and an engineer on our team follows the job step by step through the inspection.

Wall and roof panels in Phifer 18/14 fiberglass with new spline, rusted fasteners replaced.
Screen doors
Doors re-hung, adjusted or replaced, with new closers and hardware where the old ones have corroded.
Full rescreen
For the cage with a sound frame and tired mesh. Phifer 18/14, Phifer 20/20 no-see-um, or polyester screen.
New pool cage
When the frame itself is done. Engineered drawings, Sarasota or Charlotte County permit, inspection.

Do you work on both sides of the county line?
Yes. 2H is licensed in Sarasota County and Charlotte County, so Englewood addresses on either side, Rotonda West, Cape Haze and Placida are all normal work for us.
Repair or rescreen?
If a few panels are torn and the rest of the mesh is still tight, repair. If the screen is chalky and tears at the spline when you touch it, a full rescreen lasts longer for the money. We tell you which one you need.
Who checks the work while it is being done?
An engineer on our team follows every job step by step — from the first measurement and the quote to the final walkthrough with you. On permitted work that includes the drawings, the permit and the inspection.
Do I need a permit?
Not to repair or rescreen a sound frame. A new cage or a change to the frame needs engineered drawings and a county permit, which we pull under CRC1334065.
What warranty do you give?
Our work carries a 1-year labor warranty, and the materials we install carry the manufacturer's own warranty. The written terms come with every estimate.
