North Port, specifically

Well water, wide lots, and a storm that is still showing up in the quotes.

Well water stains aluminum. Irrigation off a well leaves rust-colored streaks on white frames across North Port, and no amount of screen replacement fixes that. It is a wash and refinish job, and it is one of the most common things we do here.

Hurricane Ian went through North Port in September 2022. A lot of cages lost panels or roof sections and were patched to get through the season. Four years on, those patches are the first thing to fail. We tell you honestly whether the frame is worth another round of screen or whether it has moved.

Can you quote my North Port cage from photos?

How do I get the rust stains off my pool cage?

You do not scrub them off. Well-water staining on aluminum needs a proper wash, treatment and a new finish. Painting over the stain without treating it means it comes back within a year.

My cage was patched after Ian. Is it still safe?

Sometimes. A frame that stayed square and kept its anchors can take new screen and go on for years. A frame that moved needs to be replaced, and no amount of screen hides that. We look at the anchors and the connections and tell you which one you have.

Do you cover Port Charlotte?

Yes. North Port and Port Charlotte are the same trip for us, and Charlotte County permits are pulled under the same license.

How long does the work take?

A panel repair is usually one visit. Where a permit is involved, most projects finish within 20 business days of the permit being issued.
